What we optimise for
Most marketing reporting measures things that are easy to count rather than things that matter. Sessions, impressions and rankings are inputs. What a business actually needs to know is how many qualified enquiries arrived, what each one cost, and which channel produced them.
So that is what we build the engagement around. Attribution and conversion tracking are configured at the start, because without them everything afterwards is opinion. If your current reporting cannot tell you the cost per qualified lead by channel, fixing that comes before spending more money on traffic.
Search: technical, content, and answer engines
SEO splits into three jobs that are often bundled together and shouldn't be.
Technical SEO is making sure the site can be crawled, rendered and understood — site architecture, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and whether content is visible without executing JavaScript. This is where we tend to find the fastest wins, because a site that cannot be read properly will not rank regardless of how much content is added to it.
Content is answering the questions your buyers actually search, mapped to funnel stage. This means keyword clusters tied to real buying intent rather than a publishing calendar filled to hit a cadence. Thin pages that exist to target a keyword do not work any more and carry real downside risk.
Answer engine visibility is newer and increasingly matters. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot cite pages that state specific, verifiable things clearly. Pages full of generic marketing language give them nothing to quote. Structuring content so it can be cited is now a distinct discipline from ranking, and we treat it as one.
Paid media
Campaigns are measured on cost per qualified lead, not click volume or impression share. That requires conversion tracking to be trustworthy first, which is why we frequently start by fixing measurement before touching campaign structure or budget.
We are equally willing to tell you when paid media is the wrong instrument — when margins do not support the acquisition cost, when the offer converts too poorly to justify the traffic, or when the same budget spent on fixing the site would return more.
Realistic timelines
Technical SEO fixes can move things within weeks. Content and authority building take months, and compound over six to twelve. Paid media produces data immediately but usually needs a few weeks of spend before the optimisation is based on signal rather than noise. Anyone promising ranking results in thirty days is either buying links or describing something other than what you think they are.
When we're not the right fit
If you need high-volume content production at the lowest possible cost per article, a content mill will beat us on price. If you want guaranteed rankings for a specific term, nobody can honestly sell that and we will not pretend otherwise.
